I wasn’t prepared for this. My expectation: spectacular views and a place to sit outside in sun to enjoy lunch overlooking the valley. What I found instead: House on the Rock, Swiss style.
I have a bone to pick. This is not the highest point in Europe (Mont Blanc, France) nor the highest point in Switzerland (Monte Rosa)! Wikipedia details here.
Beautiful views. Enormous crowds. Large groups from China and India uncertain how to walk on snow. Rather fun watching adults behave like children. A touch sad I was unable to capture the snowball fight between friends who saw and touched snow for first time.
Lots of visual stimulus everywhere you look.
